Below we have some options for fork buffets, you may select one of our themed buffets where we have a readymade menu, or there is the option to choose exactly which dishes you would like for your special occasion from the selection below, according to your budget.

 

Italian Feast £25 Per Person (minimum of 40 guests)

Antipasti:
Minestrone soup- Selection of Italian cured meats- freshly baked breads and rolls with balsamic vinegar and olive oil- marinated artichokes, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes- bruschetta and calamari fritti

Insalata:
Vine tomato, mozzarella and basil salad- green bean and onion salad- classic mixed salad and Caesar salad

Hot Dishes:
Chicken Parmigiana- Veal Osso Bucco- Spaghetti Bolognese or Carbonara- Pesto and sun-blush tomato penne- King Prawns in garlic butter- Italian style roast potatoes

Desserts:
Tiramisu- vanilla pannacotta- almond and apricot tart- fresh fruit platter, Italian cheese board

Freshly brewed coffee with amaretti.

Eastern Delight £22 Per Person  (minimum of 40 guests)

Starters:
Poppadums with chutney and dips- curried vegetable samosas- chicken pakoras- onion bhajis- marinated lamb skewers- salad

Hot dishes:
Chicken korma- beef madras- tandoori chicken, lamb rogan josh- vegetable and chickpea curry- bombay potatoes- basmati rice- naan bread and chapatti

Desserts:
Baked mango cheesecake- coconut tart- spiced poached fruits- cinnamon and orange creamed rice- chocolate, hazelnut and caramel tart

Tea and freshly brewed coffee with mints.

 

Fork Buffet  Menu One….. £22.50  (minimum of 20 guests)

Choose from the list:
2 Cold dishes, 2 Hot dishes, 2 Salads, 2 desserts and tea or coffee.

Freshly baked rolls

Cold Dishes:
- Ham hock terrine with homemade chutney
- Trio of melon with mint syrup   V
- Sliced cold honey ham and roast beef
- Peppered mackerel and soused herrings
- Tomato and basil bruschetta  V
- Chicken liver pate with oatcakes

Hot Dishes:
- Classic beef bourgingnon
- Chicken jalfrezi with pilau rice
- Penne pasta, pesto cream and  sun-blush tomatoes   V
- Grilled Scottish salmon, sauce vierge
- Chicken breast with white wine and mushroom cream sauce

Salads:
- Coleslaw   V
- Greek salad     V
- Marinated olives, feta and sun-dried tomatoes  V
- Caesar salad
- New potato, ham, spring onion and mustard dressing

Desserts:
- Warm spiced apple crumble, creme anglaise
- Glazed lemon tart
- Dark chocolate and espresso truffle torte
- Fresh fruit Pavlova
- Warm sticky toffee pudding, butterscotch sauce

Fork Buffet   Menu Two……. £27.00  (minimum of 20 guests)

Choose from the list: 3 Cold dishes, 3 Hot dishes, 4 Salads, 3 Desserts and tea and coffee

Choose your items from menu 1 or  these additional items:

Freshly baked rolls

Cold Dishes:
- Chicken, pork and apricot terrine
- Smoked salmon and prawn platter
- Continental sliced meats and cheese
- Marinated mediterranean vegetables   V

Hot Dishes:
- Caramelised red onion and Strathdon blue filo tart   V
- Tagliatelle carbonara
- Beef and mushroom stroganoff
- Roast breast of chicken stuffed with haggis, whisky cream sauce
- Chicken, Chorizo and butterbean casserole with wild rice

Salads:
- Moroccan cous cous  V
- Asian coriander, chili and noodle salad V

Desserts:
- Blueberry cheesecake
- Pear and almond tart

Fork Buffet   Menu Three…. £32.00 per person  (minimum of 40 guests)

Choose from the list: 5 Cold Dishes, 4 Hot dishes, 5 Salads, 4 Desserts, tea, coffee and homemade tablet

Choose your items from any of the menus above or these additional items:

Selection of freshly baked rolls and breads

Cold Dishes:
- Home cured beetroot gravadlax
- Cold seafood platter, citrus aioli
- Smoked meat and game selection (£1.50 supplement per person)

Hot Dishes:
- Hot roast joint of meat carved by the chef, Choice of mustard roast Beef or honey glazed Gammon or leg of Lamb, served with selection of vegetables and potatoes
- Grilled Sea bass with a caper and lemon butter
- Slow braised Scottish Venison casserole with thyme dumplings
- Wild mushroom risotto with sun-blush tomatoes and parmesan    V
- Spiced aubergine stew with steamed rice   V

Salads:
- Rocket, pear and walnut salad      V
-Vine tomato, buffalo mozzarella and pesto  V

Desserts:
- Scottish cheese board with oatcakes and chutney
- Steamed chocolate pudding with a rich baileys chocolate sauce and cream
